i think getting kicked and replaced is worse than denied

How else can we tell who is legit and who isnt. I have to judge by the guilds in a union. For instance; My guild tells me of a new legit union. I ask one of the guild leaders who is in it and the list contains no recognizable names but one and i KNOW its a bot guild. So can I tell my members all the guilds are legit? No. I have to draw a line somewhere. I do no allow my members to party with known bot guilds but now, botters are trying to pretend to be legit. They have their bot friends PL them to a reasonable level and then join our guilds.

"Hi I just started, Im level 65, have 500K SP and never been in a party with a single legit prior to a week ago, but guess what, IM LEGIT!!!"

They dont like being ostracized and they are trying the most ridiculous tactics. I have had botters rat each other's bot leveling places out so that Albel will go murder them and try to earn brownie points.... I have had them tell me about bot bugs that make it easier to mess with them so that we might leave them alone.... If you can think of it, they have tried it, butt kissing, begging, fighting, PKing, wars, KSing... This is the worst one yet cause it WORKS on some of you.

LEGITS ON VENUS CAME CAUSE THEY HEARD IT WAS LEGIT. They already know. In order to keep a whole entire server clean and legit maybe one guy gets mistakenly called a bot. Oh noes, say it isnt so. If every single legit on Venus hates me but Venus remains the clean server Fly and I intended it to be, then good, I can live with that. Yes'm, we are extremists. We had to be. You are enjoying the fruits of our labors, you should have some respect and at least try to assist with it.

Legit: A char that has never been leveled with the assistance of a third party program or an alteration of the client in a way that may infringe on the game play of another player.

There ya go. If someone in your guild/Union doesnt match that definition, kick it. If you have someone in your guild/union that doesnt match that criteria and you KNOW it, then I will not support that.

Every day I ride through the ongs on my way to where I level. I go out of my way to see who is there and who they are partied with. I have a good memory for words so I pay attention to names of those that are guildless and not guildless.

I am proactive in my server, I talk to ppl, ride around, look things over. I am constantly in discussion with one person or another about the state of things on Venus. I generally know who is unioned with who and if I dont I do some research. EVERYONE should be doing the same to some extent. Ignorance is no real excuse for anything in life.

<rant> Maybe you would get more respect if you weren't being complete assholes about it? How about that? All this BS about how Avalon are the only ones doing anything, while the rest of us are out there murdering bots that are plvling players, bot trapping and everything we can do? Respect is usually something that is mutual, so don't expect any respect when you piss on BHA and all other legit players the way you do. </rant>

I also try to be aware of what is going on around the area I am traveling through. If I am crossing the ice and see a train of horses, I will usually go over check the plvler and everyone of the horsehumpers and what guilds they are from, try to make mental note of the name.

I was in caves recently and there were two afk sitting in one of the connector tunnels while a botter was out in the PEGS room plvling away. I also notice a unionmate up against the wall close by just standing. I asked were they all getting plvl'd by the bot but didn't have to wait for any answer because the botter came back and came over to tell them the session was over. The unionmate responded that he was in a party with other legits and was waiting for them and in a few seconds they all showed up in tunnel and confirmed he was in their party and they headed on up the tunnel. Point being: look around, talk to people, note who is plvling, who is getting plvl'd, who is humping horses, etc.

Everyone plays a part in this.

When the botter that spams your party trying to join and you keep denying him/her, and then the PMs start asking you why you want accept "why you not accept? I am 62 tank me help you at guards".....don't ignore them tell them why so not likely but maybe it will sink in.......YOU WILL NEVER PARTY WITH US BECAUSE YOU ARE IN A BOTTER GUILD!!!!!....but of course you can expect the return FACK MATHER response

I've even kicked botters from dist parties, after pming them and saying that botters aren't allowed. The most common response is "LOL NOOB" I think.

My favorite type person to try and join a pt is a lvl 74 china nuker from a bot guild when the pt match clearly says "PEGS need TANK/CLERIC only!!"

Did I say that? Are you still mad at getting killed in purple status? I personally dont piss on anyone except the fake legits that wriggle their way into legit guilds. If they have spent 7X levels in a bot guild then claim legitimacy, they get my disregard. The real legits I know get my complete cooperation.

Dont expect me to be nice to ppl I dont consider legit. *shrug* Reroll or lick ballz.

That is a crock of shit. I am in regular contact with as many legit unions as I can be. The legit ones that I know are legit, I encourage to get involved in the Confederacy so that we can keep track of eachother. Dont go talking a bunch of smack until you know WTF you are talking about. I have high standards for legitimacy but I have the utmost respect for those that meet them. SG and I may argue the finer points of who is legit and who isnt, but I have NEVER ONCE said BHA isnt legit.

see the person who said that is probably some noob moron who just joined up and thinks avalon and bha unions are the only legits (and ive even been told by some that only bh guild and avalon guild are legit lol because they dont know the union guilds yet)

the fact that there are guilds outside of these two unions (well now 3 with overkill) is little known to the nubs, so they tend to stick with the big namers

yeah, but maybe they could make a list of legit guilds so we can keep track... also, it would help to know their union emblem too ^_^. but if u dont know if a guild is legit or nt, u should atleast ask ur guildies (thats wat i do ), or ask the memeber of that guild... but yeah, kicking a party member just cause they arent in Ava/BHA/OK unions is biased
