I think it's funny how so many people feel like some secret is being kept about the whole sun shield thing. I was listening in vent when Cyrusis bought the shield and the next day when they were talking about him having bought 4B gold to get it. It was posted on SRA immediately. It's a dead issue as far as everyone involved is concerned. Asy didn't scam or steal anything.

Despite what Non Ego Man said, the overall outcome here is bad. Some bottards on Venus got 3B for the shield, some gold companies got a lot of cash to continue their operations (unless they were CCFed), friendships were strained or broken, a lot of people not involved decided to get themselves involved, and Asy's name got run through the mud.

No amount of sun outweighs these negatives, but asserting that it should be destroyed is just retarded.

I agree but I guess I don't give it much merit. BHA doesn't do anything against bots? Well, like Avalon union, many do but most don't. BHA is "carebear"? I kinda see myself as more "laidbackbear".

Worry about what BHA thinks of you, not what Avalon thinks of you. (BTW, BHA thinks you're hawt )


My evaluation is from after the purchase. Yeah, it would have been great if Cyrusis never bought the gold. Even better if the botters never got the drop. But in terms of what to do after Cyrusis bought 4B gold and used it to buy the shield: it's better that he's off the server and Asy has the shield than he's still here with the shield.

think about it. if it wasn't for avalon, u guys wouldn't even have switched from wherever u came from. they have every right to say what's what on venus cuz it really is their server. they owned the bots themselves, they kept venus legit friendly. they have every right to say it cuz bots have been botting in our faces way too long, and this is what they ..... get on this server. get it in ur heads that w/o avalon, venus wouldn't have the legit community it has now. u say u made ur own guild and brought it up urselves? wouldn't have happened.

i was on this server the moment it opened and i had ZERO ties to avalon aside from the fact that i knew nb fly and f[i]y as well as khaara from xian ( and actually i didnt even know avalon was on the server till i was lvl 20 ish and i found an avalon party partying not far from me)

and there were several others that came with me; so there are those who would have moved anyway

and the reason people say stop saying it's your server because it is Farking annoying when someone acts like their shit don't smell and alot of the people who weren't even around when the war was starting to be fought - those that recently joined or w.e. - are already acting like little princes and as if their shit doesn't smell

we don't say to stop saying that to belittle avalon or deny avalon credit for its accomplishments - we say that because there are those people who are airheads and it goes right to their heads and they start treating everyone not in avalon like shit (AND THEY HAD NO PART whatsoever in what avalon has done) - they are taking credit just because they are wearing a shiny union tag - and THAT is what pisses the rest of us off

Would you play Venus if BH is not in Venus?
Would BH be here if Avalon wasn't in the first place?
Would you stay in Venus if none of Avalon n BH is here now?

I am not saying that 100% of the community comes because of them. But majority are.

See, there is one thing i find wrong about saying that. First of all, Cyrusis completely ripped apart Avalon's rules and set back work on pushing out some of the gold bots by months. Prices in gold rose over 10$ / 100mil, from around 17 to 27. Not to mention, Asy wasn't going to take the shield, but Cyrusis quickly accused Asy of scamming it first chance he got. Now, if I had a "friend" that backstabbed me not once, but twice? I'd drop him in a motherfucking instant.
I personally believe that Cyrusis KNEW he couldn't sell the shield, and decided that since he was kicked from Avalon and blacklisted from parties, that as a parting farewell decided to tarnish Asy's reputation as best he could.

There are more to the whole story... There are still ? marks for me here and there... not on the Cyrusis & Asy situation.. but on earlier issues... which was not cleared up yet...
So yes what u said is correct, but thats only part of it i believe...
But anyhow, i still like Venus, and Venus now is the work of Avalon yes...

Yes, Avalon made Venus what it is today. If they hadn't of started the movement, alot of people would have never come here.

They can talk as much shit as they want, they earned that right. If you dont like it gtfo of Venus.

I havent always agreed with Fly's ways, but they do work. Oh and I still say destroy the shield(but thats just my opinion.)

tedo made BH on venus but took a break for RL reasons if i am right, until SG and SD rerolled on venus.

So if I understand some of the point of views correctly:

(1)Avalon made Venus what it is (agreed)
(2)Legits and whole legit guilds moved here because of it (agreed)
(3)Legits from all over SRO move here because of what Avalon created and continues to do on Venus (agreed)
(4)Droves of bots have left or been crippled on Venus because of Avalon (agreed)
(5)Without Avalon making Venus what it is today there would be no Venus as we know it (agreed)
(6)Avalon continues to pwn the bots daily with whatever means necessary (agreed)
(7)Avalon can shit on everyone else in this server if they want to, belittle them, tell them to gtfo, call them carebears, noobs, treat them with disrespect, say Avalons are the only ones doing anything in the fight against bots, tell them all if they don't like any of the above "oh well get over it or gtfo, (ABSOLUTELY MATHER FACKINGLY NOT)

BTW, I moved here because my guildleader came here and I stick with him and his decisions. I had never heard of Avalon before nor did I know anything about Venus when I rerolled here. I do however respect all the work that Avalon did and continues to do in Venus and it is the best server I have ever played on.

I came to Venus because BHA was there. I did not know about Avalon. I think it's great what they did, but certain people have a really bad attitude (see point #7 above).

+1 to both ur points. actions speak louder than words . whenever i find a afk bot, i try to kill them by debuffing them and putting the pot delay skill on them, since they nvr attack me back .

but i dont agree wat fly said about "avalon being the only one ever doing the owning part of the bot war." ofcourse avalon does alot of work in killin bots, but they cant say they are the only ones. i know nog used to bot trap alot in angan, aswell as mrs_crossbow.

but since i wasnt in venus since "day one" or even the first 4~5 months, i think i should just stfu.

yea, i came over to venus (as i've said camped its opening) and made blackhand; then Inimicus from xian's blackhand followed me here and then Grace; it was the 3 of us and a bunch of random noobs we added that pledged to be legit

we joined avalon unions ranks and we all had a hell of a good time

then i quit sro completely for one reason or another (not gonna go into details), and inimicus and grace followed suit

when i heard sg was fcking around on venus - seeing as how bh(a) was his by right (originated on xian blah blah) i gave him leadership and he went on to make bha - i still back him 110% as i've done over the past few years and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future and more than likely forever lol
