It was 1v1 and both were buffed up the ass. Asy had no warrior buffs though only cleric whereas Future had the whole 9 yards.

We have been fighting and winning since day 1 of this server and we are doing a great job. Either join in the fight, or get out of the way. Yeah, but its a good and important discussion. It seems to be an argument about whether the ends justify the means. Is it okay to scam a bot or goldbuyer? I actually think keeping or rondoing the item is incidental.

In the end:

Gold prices skyrocket (good)
Legit owns Sun (good)
Nonlegit leaves server (good)
Bots/goldbuyers worried (good)
The original bot who got the drop made w/e from it (bad)

So on balance, a lot of good came from it with the only bad thing being that whoever cyrusis bought the shield from has a ton of gold now.

Also, the "friendship" issue is another matter. Whether it was right or not to scam someone you've known for a while.

there is a major difference between killing a botter and getting its drop, and scamming a guildmate who bought gold to purchase an item. if you can't figure that out, there's somethin wrong with you.

cyrusis was in Avalon before he bought the 4bil gold to buy the shield. he then let Asy borrow it and Asy wouldn't give it back. they then found out that Cyrusis bought gold and kicked him from avalon. hence scammed/stolen from a guildmate.

well since no one has posted the official avalon version of the tale of the miraculous acquisition of the 9th degree SOSun shield, why don't you do it, so we can all be clear on what really happened that fateful day. it still does not change the fact that Cyrusis was a member of avalon when he bought the shield.

That would have happened anyway. The question is whether the gold selling companies will leave their goldbots on longer to build up a greater inventory or if they understand this is a one-off and will just run their bots the same as they always have. Put another way: will they raise their inventory cap based on Cyrusis' purchase? I don't know the answer to that.

then 2 hours later he globes shit about nightbloom being an evil bitch.

then an hour later asyamura sweet talks him into giving him the shield.

that was AFTER he was kicked and knew he had no chance of ever rejoining.

Plus, I never sold him gold. I repaid a debt nightbloom owed to him back from xian. The money he gave us was a donation on SRA useing the donate button. In excange for the donation, all he got was a cute red V.I.P name and the 1337 ability to make tounements in the arcade.
