Message me ingame to receive your prizes. Im only saying you duel to see who can best the other right? How will you know if you can really best him/her if you use pots? Im not against people using pots in duel, but it's much better to see people duel without pots, gives it a more respectful approach, thats all Im sayin. Im not against your duel btw, just expressing my thoughts. Sorry if I have offended anyone _________________

					| duelling without pots is actualyl pretyy stupid, for example, Moogie is an ice user, almost guaranteed to frosbite me, 2 hits I'm dead.
 wow that was fun

even if i get the first hit, hers slows me down so she can hit me enough timesd and defeat me before i've even swung my weapon a second time.

maybe if your a pure str and dont use magic, then yes it oculd be interesting, bashing the hell out ofeach other, but it just won't work with us.

					| I understand your point, kurohagane. However, for me and Dem to duel eachother without pots would result in a highly unfair outcome, due to our high damage + low HP values. Whoever hit the other first would have won, regardless of skill. Potting allows for an extra dimension of uncertainty on the outcome and lengthens the duel to a more worthwhile duration.
Absolutely nothing wrong with voicing your opinion here, friend. Never be scared to point out things from a different perspective, especially to nice people like us. _________________

					| Ouch, I need to re-count the winners here, seems I made a couple of mistakes... I have no idea how. O.o
RaVen voted Moogie, as did PB_And_J. So they're not winners.
Winners: Ricco, Monition, MadMountie, Im_On_56k, JaR, Penquinz, FuglyMonkey.
Monition and Im_On_56k have received their prizemoney- the rest are pending an ingame response.
Sorry for the mixup, folks... I guess I got a bit confused. To be honest, all the votes were worded differently... anything from "Moogie beats Dem" to "I think you might win but I'll vote Dem". So in trying to read them all quickly and tally up the scores, I misinterpreted some of them. But that's just an excuse. I really don't know why I counted them wrong, but at least it's correct now (hopefully ).
So this means 650000 gold to phunky. Lucky guy. _________________

					| on the subject of potting/pilling during duels:
somepeople don't realize how much strategy goes into being an effective SRO player. this can include anything from how you grind to the specific order or sequence in which you activate your skills in battle to how long you wait before using a pill or a potion after your HP or MP has gone down. adding pills/pots in a battle can make all the difference in the workd, especially between people who are not on the same lvl. if pills/pots wewn't used in battle, then Professinoal would never have been able to beat vwbuss from Banditos several times in our last war, as vwbuss is, from what i gather, a few lvls above him.

by the same token, i had an EPIC battle w/ a trader while i was thieving the other day; he was an ice blader (excellent combo), and i'm, as you know, fire/light spear. even though i think i was a few lvls higher than him, his ability to freeze me - and subsequently get in more hits, albeit at lower dmg - kept this battle going for longer than 5 minutes straight. in the end, i conceded due to a lack of pills.

					| Thanks for the comp Moogie
Now we know why Dem is your Protector!!

Having seen the video - I would be interested to see the the resaults for a best out of seven. I would be guessing 5:2 or maybe 4:3 in Dem's favour.

Not that I want the two of you killing each other that much!

Oh Yeah - about my winnings

Just add it to the phunky fund for me please (assuming that's ok with you - but if you really want to chase me around, my new character is - Pig_Stiker)

					| This is probably off topic and since im know n for that Ill rattle on anyway.
However the outcome of the epic battle im sure everyone will be entertained.
As for a personal observation, it seems that all the happening people are in Xian...how is it like fr a nob in Xian. Im thinking of starting a char there.
Anyways, hope to meet u all in silkroad.

					| thanx Moogie
and you may wish to add me to the paid list
retro70 (Robin) Xian is definately a good server to choose - for the reason that there are plenty of friendly and helpful people (such as most of the members of this forum) that are generally willing to help out new players.
There are downsides too - every server has its share of "Sphincter Muscles", but on Xian quite a few of them are Bloody high level, and they often take pleasure in using loopholes in the game to target/victimise new players (especially 1 star trades - refer Moogie's guide in the guide section)
If you choose Xian feel free to ask me for help/advice at any time _________________
