Miyamoto is so ridiculously charming that he could sell you your own pants.
Their intro was cute with the pikmin. I loved how Reggie referred to 2007's E3, the origin of 'my body is ready'. So far nothing I'm aching to buy, but I always enjoy their conference so much.
Missed the first 30 mins but based on what I've seen, Nintendo's conference is almost as bad Microsoft's.
Ubisoft basically carrying console gaming on it's back with Rayman, Assassin's Creed, and Watch Dogs.
Now Nintendo is showing some Luigi version of Pacman or something.
Edit: GG. Console gaming is dead. It's now full of casual games for your kids and a billion shooters. Nintendo is still trying to get away with selling glorified tech demos.
Wii U = Dreamcast

are you kidding me? qq moar please. And the Dreamcast was pretty damn cool. JSRF.
Well... that was pretty disappointing... At least MS had Halo 4 and South Park...
Which both are wowitsfuckingnothing.jpg and honestly Nintendo didn't do so bad. Not very well, but not too bad. E3 overall has been disappointing once again. Nothing to wow me into saying I MUST BUY THAT VIDEO GAME.

hey hey. don't diss the Halo. And what about the Watch_Dogs. That looked fcking incredible even if it was scripted. Did you even see the npc in the car trying to nudge his wife to life??

Look if I wanted to play Grand Theft Auto, I'll buy Grand Theft Auto. It wasn't revolutionary or innovative. The game did look great, but certainly nowhere near the "WOW" factor I'm looking for.
Halo on the other hand may be a great series, but certainly nothing new or anything I should be blown away by. I want a new ip to make me throw my wallet at my monitor. Nintendo with Wii U is almost at that point with me, but sadly I probably won't have $400 to give to Nintendo later this year.

i would say my running order went: microsoft > nintendo > sony sonys lack of anything intresting or "new" was boring... apart from watch dog everything else was expected... i dont know why that survival game is getting such high credit, it was expected to be like that and they delivered not much other then a short demo... this felt to me like they were holding back a bit too much.
nintendo on the other hand had by far the best presentation... the presenting skills of nintendo are second to none. miyamoto is already a legend and his goofy attitude is so comical that he just makes you smile... (in b4 ps fanboys think he is actually like this all day every day lol) reggie is a great spokesperson for nintendo too. Also they really took to internet at an advantage this year with a pre e3 video and post e3 video drumming in hard for people to view their website, what a great tactic from nintendo.
nintendo did come back to hardcore gamers side a bit only lifting their feet off the pedal at just dance -.-
as for xbox... halo 4, splinter cell, south park, lara croft, dat lego awesome sauce.. need i say more
I still play Reach from times to times with a buddy of mine. Can't wait for Halo 4.
I may have recently bot Halo 1, Halo 2, and Halo 3. Nostalgia <3.
BAN NAOW!!!
sony fans: haha wii sucks it doesnt even have assassins creed xbox fans: arkham city was awesome, one of the best xbox titles! wii responds: ok heres both for the hardcore gamers... sony fans: pfft still casual gaming then wiiu sucks xbox fans: we stll got halo u mad?
sony: hey guys check this new awesome thing out its called Sony Wiimote! we thought you might enjoy super sony bros too!!!
xbox: we have so many casual approaches coming out for the xbox from more kinect games and features to smartglass! make your games interact with your tablet device! (by... playing games on a tablet? this isnt news to us...)
nintendo fans: wiiU is still casual game oriented... we are disappoint.
xbox: tomb raider fk yeaaaa, splinter cell fk yeaaaaa oh and... we still got halo
sony: watch dog 0.0 best evor game evor. wtf is this? (picks up book) its a book that you read on tv and interact? YEA NINTENDO BEAT THIS SHIT
The games that stood out for me were Assassin's Creed 3(I want Liberation on PC too), Watch Dogs, Splinter Cell Blacklist, The Last Of Us, Dishonored, Need For Speed Most Wanted, Resident Evil 6. Don't really care about the other ones.

Thanks for this Thread RuYi,
It sucks that this year i can't really keep up to date with anything related to E3 due to my crappy as Intrawebs here in Jakarta, time differences and busier than expected schedule.
So having a nice place to pull it all together is awesome.

Don't worry, Key-J, I perfectly understand that you were willing to deal with crappy internet rather than with the constant snow. And yeah, same here. Life's been busy. I've only seen EA and Ubisoft live, and watched the rest at a less demanding time, and didn't really look into stuff as much as previous years.
My hypelist: 1. Splinter Cell: Blacklist 2. Level 1313 3. Watch_Dogs 4. Assassin's Creed III 5.Resident Evil 6
Yes, in that order. Yes, Resident Evil is at the bottom. This E3 wasn't overly exciting, but not bad either. I'm happy.
There hasnt been a single stand out "wow factor" game so far this E3...doesnt mean that i of course dont want to go out and buy certain games and consoles i have seen.
as satman says... but i dont think this has anything to do with the games that were shown more... the information.
the last of us.. the hype isnt necessary. this was shown last e3 and people are like OMG SURVIVAL GAME like they didnt even know thats what it was from the last e3... and there is no release date or announcement of platform other then playstation so... it could even come out for the wiiu and playstation fans are going to cry at the $200 price difference to play the game.
i think Watch_Dog looks like the best wow factor game because of its implementation. i think this is the beginning of a new genre that is in its first stages, ok it looks like gta but thats not the point of this, think of what can become of a franchise like this and its ideas it will introduce.
i also think nintendo have left things far too open right now... game developers are struggling to think of what to do and nintendo is like a think tank pumping game after game of new ideas whilst most other devs are sat on standard games and using the "flick remote left" as just another control rather then using its precision.
microsoft are also going to fall into this hole with kinect if they dont watch out... the possibilities are endless with just the speak function yet... no one really puts it to good use. splinter cell "hey you..." no sorry that doesnt excite me if thats the only use it will have in splinter cell...
Last of Us wasn't shown at E3 last year. It was announced on Spike's VGAs however Uncharted 3 hinted it and that was found out during the week of release. It's also from Naughty Dog and guess who owns them?
