Hi fellow legits of Venus =)

Just a little announcement I thought I'd post in advance of my little organizational activities here, so everybody knows whats going on.

The team has discussed and have agreed to merge the 2 stickies regarding the legits and illegits into one. I'm almost done writing the thread and at this point, it has a link to the Confederation forum/The Dungeon sub-forum, I haven't decided so, whichever you guys choose.

Also, I think its important to give some credits to the legit guilds and our members have acess to the list so I will be quoting the "Guils You Can Party with List" and putting that into the thread as well.

Please leave me any comments and/or questions regarding this matter and I'll answer them here, as well as whatever else you want to see in the stickie.

i think its awesome that venus is so legit and active we have our own stickies. take that other servers!

and yeah both lists are technicly the same thing. both lead to the same place. one sticky if broken down correctly can handle players you can/cant pt with, guilds you can/cant pt with, and the correct way to report a bot/bot plvl.

if it has all 3 aspects in a well laid out way with noob friendly english then im sure it would make life more easy for everyone.

And you should definitely lock it after finalizing it, cause sticky threads (announcements) need to be clean.

Go ahead and merge the two stickies but keep Tedo's as the main one or he'll get all emo.

Or just unsticky mine if it's easier that way.

Well it seems like there was a friendly argument over who's stickie should be...stickied so I decided to take all your hardwork and make it under my post.

@Fly well I should probably mention it now, but most probably the reason why people would have something against you - the co-founder of the great legit Venus community - is because of what you always say about other servers. You know we all (at one point) used to love SRO and all of we pretty much have te *thing* for our own server. We just simply LOVE where we started no matter how much bots that server had, or how much times we got owned by those stupid theif spawns back in the days. And when you make comments to let others down, it turns people against you guys.

The fact is, Venus is great, you guys have accomplished something amazing, and the efforts shall not be negleted. However the problem is you are hurting other people's pride and insulting the love for their own server when you joke about (and constantly repeat the fact that) Venus rocks, other sucks.

Now I'm not stupid and childish to not know that's joke, by all means its only a joke and you probably don't see the need of me addressing it. You do have to understand we are all humans with feelings here and your actions and words can have different impact to different people. And apparantly your love for Venus and the constant praising of your server is affecting our feelings because you always have had to include something to put others down. It doesn't really matter if you mean to inslut the others or not, because you are preceived this way, and if a lot of people do preceive this way, then there's something wrong about your words.

I hope you do continue and have fun in building your legit empire and show those idiots what real fingers are made of. However, I do encourage you, nightbloom and others to consider the feelings of others before you make harsh, unthoughtful comments because I believe you guys are old enough to do so.

I hope I explained everything properly, and I hope you guys take it seriously as well.

i know what you mean. i began on day 1 of silkroad on xian server. i would give anything to be back on xian at the head of a "liberation army" kicking those **** bots off my home server. but im realistic enough to know that wont ever happen.

when you get down to it, every server is exactly the same without its people. npc in the same location. same mob spawns. same glitched mountians to climb and explore, ect. venus is no better then any other server.

even the people on venus are not "better". the only thing that i can truly say thats better on venus is the attitude. no more abuse from the scum of the server. we stand tall and fight back. my posts are not aimed at hurting the feelings of those on other servers. they are ment to inspire them into doing what we are doing. stop taking shit from those that you have within your power to defeat.

too bad most of silkroad players are whimps and the idea of not rolling over and playing dead comes across as being egotistical or rude. there is nothing egotistical about wanting fair play and a good community.

Well if you rather choose to use negative comments to drive people, then its up to you. I'm just saying you ARE hurting people's feelings whether you intend to or not. Everybody loves their server, and its a home for them no matter how much bots there are. If you call them stupid or whimps just becuase they are undecisive and don't follow your orders, you won't get the repsect you deserve. So if you want to change the tone of your attitude, great. If you don't, I have no complaints, I'll just be doing my jobs.
