So it came to me earlier, after remember how cool the Hurricane vs SD wars were back when they joined the server, and with fable looking for guild wars. The idea is make 2 twin guilds, and enforce lvl 40 characters only. B[i]ade and Fab[i]e. Now the guild leaders keep a record of ID's and pws for a bunch of these characters, these guilds would war like every other week or so.

Every one will be lvl 40, every one will use NPC gear, the builds are up to the guild leaders (this is the stratagy/ planing part of it) The lvl 40 cap so every build gets its good skills, daggers come alive, you get magic fence, cross bow gets knock down, recovery divion, ext, and its not too unreasonable to obtain.

any one else want to make a team?

i'll add names in as we go, still deciding on what builds for my team, and finding out who is interested

we want to do normal wars and objective wars, Ojbectives such as kill the VIP, or be the first one to buy the hidden item and bring it back (set up a stall in the middle of no where and people try to find it, all the while killing each other)

wait so, theres a bunch of different characters, and you get to play those characters in a war?

So at max, you'll need 100 accounts (50 players in each guild, there are 2 guilds) that can be accessed with permission? Everyweek or so when war comes, 100 people sign up and they will be given one of these 100 accounts and duke it out?

Ya. Its basicly like a weekly or bi-weekly competion between the two groups, or is the plan

and the guild will be stoped at lvl 2 or lvl 3, so it won't be 50 in each, wouldn't even be worth making that many lvl 40's becasue we wont' get that many on, was thinking lvl 2 so 20 players on each side. (my original plan was lvl 30 cause thats easy to plvl in one day, but people talked saying they'd perfer 40)

The guild leader will give you the account info for the wars, basically not expecting any one do to do anything bad with them but to have the info so we can change the pw if we had to. Not like we're going to change it everytime that'd be annoying and stupid.

for the Blade side you'd get the info from me, for the fable side from Friends, there should be enough trust in the confederation, and if any one doesn't follow the rules we change the pass and they can't log on that character again

@PI, less then 100 people more like from 30 to 40 enough for 2 lvl 2 guilds, more would be cool but i dont' really expect that many people to want to sign up, but if by all means enough do sign up, we'll make sure we can fit them in, provided we keep the numbers equal

The whole "npc gear" thing can't really be enforced, whats wrong with pimped gear? Since this is going to be a euro vs euro battle most likely, pimped gear wont really mean much of a difference. A pimped 5d set is what, 5mil max?

40 accounts, 20 for each side, level 40 FF. Sounds like fun. As long as I get to play a Dagger Rogue or 1h Warrior.

I got a lot of 3X alts. I guess i can get one to 40 and use it for wars.

This is also a good opportunity to test out unorthodox builds such as Warrior/Wizard. Can't wait!

I originally didn't care but a few others said it'd be better to make it npc gear, and it makes it all on even ground so no one sweeps in with a a som 2 hander and decked out sos armor. Its making it about skill over gear.

Woot, I was just thinking about starting this thread. Saves me the trouble I guess.

Anyways, this would be a lot like Red vs Blue type of thing. The fact that everyone is the same level and npc gear will make this 100% fair and skill oriented only.

Level 40 however, I'm not sure about. I'm not really sure which level would be good at all. For example, level 41 for Chinese Bicheon is the 2nd KD, which is crucial to pvp for Chinese, just like how crucial lvl 30 is to wiz with teleport invis and stuff. This level thing is kinda... well... extreamly debatable.

I already have several active Fable members wanting to join this war thing. I personally think we should merge Fable and Blade together into 1 union, and these guilds being in the same union we can discuss the war and pvp a lot, it would be fun. During war however, we would just disband the union temporarily and stuff.

I think we should keep the builds a "secret" from the other guild, that way we can suprise eachother on the battle field. We would each plan separate strategies and try to win on both sides. Each week we can have 1 serious war, and afterwards we can like talk about it and lol etc.

This idea is so awesome, I'm having an orgasm. BRB.

Also, I was thinking about this earlier. All of a sudden, this doesn't seem as fair as it could be. Chinese skill masteries cap at 300, which means at lvl 40, you technically can get all 7 masteries to lvl 40, using every single skill. Euro on the other hand will only get 80 mastery cap at 40, now how is that fair? Chinese would have a much wider range of selection of skills to use if the cap is low like that.


We should definitely think more carefully about this. The level limit is definitely bugged right now if we execute this plan.

Also, maybe we can work something out where it's like, euro cap is 40, chinese cap is 42, or something like that. But would the extra 10 points of stats make it fair? I guess we need to think more about this.

You can get a char to lvl 40 for this easily. We should actually advertise this event for people in other servers. Would help legit academies too with an influx of people just grinding to 40.

What Foudre says is right. I know Mindmaker, Death, (maybe RingAngel) and I from Fable will be able to help plvl some of these chars.


Also, guys, don't tell people your builds please! The 2 sides are going to keep eachothers' builds secret from one another, that way we can surprise eachother on the battle field.

If you want this to work, make it a weekly thing, like fortress war. Sooner or later as more people will hear about this, it'll grow and grow until its 50vs50. Not to mention it'll attract more people to Venus. We can do it as a confederation-sponsored event, I can donate a few mils to it.

yeah, right now we're already making it a weekly thing, as soon as we get enough people to start this up. B(i)ade is already lvl 2, and I can go make another Fab(i)e easily on an alt (when I have money). Leveling up the 2 guilds is cake if we're gonna pfarm/level so much at ongs and stuff.

Also, need 9d wiz to sign up to pfarm/level.

Fable already have a private forum in the confed and we're already talking about this. It's gonna be fun.

I'd say the color coded idea is more interesting. Gets rid of the whole guild vs guild aspect, creates more of a friendly competitiveness. Too bad the guild name "Red" and "Blue" is probally taken already.

game types i came up with as well

General VIP, one person is declared the VIP and are allowed to be lvl 42 with 42 weapons, they fight amongst side every one else, every time the VIP is killed the other team is awarded one Point, kill the VIP 3 times and you win that round, have a best 2/3 rounds

King VIP, One person lvl 50 is the King, dull d6 gear, the war rages normally until a set number of points is broken, and the king now comes out, kill the king and you win that round.

the VIPs well take team work to kill or a wizard lol, in the KING VIP it will take a coordinated attack to kill the King, and the fact that if both sides break the point limit but the king has yet to die, it means both kings can potentially be out on the field at the same time, and it will be anounced when they enter the battle field. We can name the character like OrangeKing and BlueKing

so having 2 types of VIPs in a lvl 2 guild means 18 open spots, and 3 full parties

I think some people don't get: here's how it runs down:
Phase One: The two leaders each (with the help of others) Plvl a total of 40 characters (40 accounts, 20 for each guild) to level XX (most likely 40).
Phase Two:(i.e.) You sign up and are randomly(?) assigned a character for the war.
Phase Three: WAR!

That VIP stuff sounds complicated.
