Hello, Silkroad Online Forums! I've been lurking on these boards for the past week or so trying to find the answers to my questions by reading various guides and Q & A topics but it seems that I wasn't able to find them all. I really appreciate the users who took the time out to create many of these very informative guides because they've helped me quite a bit in how I want to play my current character. Well, that's enough butt kissing.. Onto one of the some of the questions I have.. Question 1: As Warlock as a subclass of Warrior which skills should I focus on and which should I ignore? I've taken in interest in the class Warlock as a subclass for Warrior. My basic understanding of Warlock is that they use debuffs and other spells to weaken their enemies. Question 2: *What would be a good level to start gapping my character level of Warrior and my Warrior mastery level and about how much SP should I try and gain? **SP Farming seems like a bit of a necessity to get the correct amount of skills needed to successfully play Warrior / Warlock. I'm curently level 20 and only have about 42 skills points which isn't much because most of my 1-Handed Sword skils now cost me around 40 SP a pop. Question 3: As a 1-Handed Warrior / Warlock what kind of armor should I wear? Heavy Armor seems to be the most logical answer but maybe there are some bonuses to wearing light armor or robes. That's about all I can think of at this moment. I'll thank everyone before hand for even taking the time out to read my topic and answer my questions.

1. (Tooken from Movio guide) I think you should concentrate on those skills. 2. I dont know when you should start gapping ... I done it at ongs for my euro ... but since most of people cant afford or dont have friends that can powerlevel them at ongs, that is not an option (for you too I guess). You should have constant gap , but that is irritating ... I mean you hit lv.69 , and still have to wear lower degree chest , and just want to complete your 8th degree set ... My idea is to try farming in party, if you can find one ... or simply hold gap whole time , or put 7 gap and farm for some time ... The more Sp you farm , the merrier! Note:Your gear depends on your masteries , not your level.3. Well for the leveling ... I'd take heavy armor so you can handle physical based mobs (most of them are physical) , and tank great even with Gap ... (this is only if you dont plan to PvP much at lower levels.) Robes are a must for a final set. You need 20% reduce MP consumption.

That picture is horribly misleading. Take robes. Sp powerfarm at ongs, if you don't have an account, go build a wizard or something else before then use that to sp farm. Warrior warlock is one of the most sp consuming builds out there. I'd go 1h/2h - Warlock if your willing to farm that much, it's an amazing build...
As for skills, I can tell you what NOT to get.
Dark seed Blaze Toxin Dark Blaze Toxin Invasion Dark Decayed Dark Breath Magical Ravage Blood flower Death flower Fog sight Illusion, Shade illusion Shadow armor Scream mask Mirage/Phantasma
Those are skills you don't need. For everything not mentioned, get them.

Actually useful. Yeah but you don't NEED them. A party would rather have a tank that would put screens and fences on people, with scream mask the buff goes off when you switch weapons. And in a party your job is to aggro mobs, not to deaggro. Phantasma can be a for fun skill at times, like if your trying to escape from mobs or if your trying to deaggro mobs off of you onto someone else like a bot or a plvl group or something .

Phantasma can be a for fun skill at times, like if your trying to escape from mobs or if your trying to deaggro mobs off of you onto someone else like a bot or a plvl group or something . In jobwars/party fights, if we already have the whole screening concept covered, I like playing as a warlock just to debuff the crap out of the "enemy." Screen mask is just a nicely added bonus. Yeah, I don't use it all that often, but I think that even level 1 of the book will suffice. I swear that leveling up that book does nothing other then increase the stun level, which, to my knowledge, does you no good. [Not that I have noticed anyways.] As for phantasma, ya, funnest thing ever to wipe out entire powerleveling parties or rape annoying ksers in your area. Just use howl to aggro a shitton of mobs onto you with skins, run over to offending party/player, phantasma and viola . And oh, dark decayed can be stacked with decayed as well [two dots allowed per target.] So if you REALLY want to keep bleed on somebody, you could use both books to pretty much guarantee the bleed. I don't really bother though, although stacking both the dull books is hilarious.

Screens can stay on, fences and PQ will not after switching. And those are probably the most important skills to keep on. And yeah phantasma is fun to kill people with The aoe dots aren't much in my favor, i'd rather put bleed and dull on someone because dull can not only help tank more for you but also increase damage aswell. Also, the single target DOTs are a much quicker cast than AoE which I would prefer in the heat of battle.

You ever have trouble with Phantasma actually agroing mobs onto you? I notice that when I'm in exp share pts, it actually agros mobs at times [mobs that are non agro in the first place.]
