Hi, I"m level 13 and haven't died yet. What are the penalties at death? Do I lose random items? I think I heard xp loss somewhere.

Will I lose the gold I'm carrying?

Thanks jackie, so that means I *could* lose all the gold I'm carrying?

The penalty for dying is exactly 2% of your total exp needed to level. This may not seem much, but as you reach teh higher levels, it will be increasingly aggrevating. When you are wearing a job suit, the exp you lose will be signifcantly less, around something like .02% of the total exp needed to level. You will not lose SP when you die.

Sometimes, you may drop items when you die, it is an extremely rare occurance. However, if you die while you are in murderer status, then the chances of dropping items are much much higher. Though you may never drop gold from your inventory.

If you fill a certain requirement, you lose less than 2% when you die to mobs.

Care to elaborate? I've heard this before but not quite sure what the requirements are.

I died once at lvl 12.. I lost like 10% or something.. I think it's a perfect 2% after level 20.

and the higher your level is the less % you lose when you die in a job.
