I would love to see a better way to sell/buy items... like implementing a search system at least... and getting rid of all the people standing around afk. Worst part of the game in my opinion.. I hate having to click a thousand times to not find what I'm looking for anyway. I thought shopping in real life was a hassle.... pfff.

I wish npc thieves would only attack the person/camel that summoned it... sick of high level thieves killing one star trades with such a cheap method. :P Really... what is 20k to a level 40+?

Getting stuck while trying to navigate around rocks and other objects is pretty annoying too. That needs work in my opinion.

I wish they could included a choice of how a character sits/stands/runs with weapon. Cause sometimes I like how the other characters run/sit but I like how my character looks except for the way it sits and runs :cry:

this might be a lengthy reply

Shortly agfter playing sor for the 1st few days., i researched the real sr a bit and found out it consisted of a water route as well. heres a few ideas

Shipping ie trading from jpan to china india africa and middle east, make these trade routs like we have now.

ship master class eg after 20 you captain a ship and have skills for speed of sailing water related skil lof some sort crew management skills ie crew defend ship better or some thning to that effect. and a repair skil
how ships would work is like this different levels = different ship classed for purchase, the ship like a cammle has a slot system set up slots can be set up with inventory for trade or - traders running routs and their hunters or body guards.

the traders and hunters will have to pay a fare for the space they use they then can help defend the boat from-

pirates just like the ship master but with skills and ships applicable to plunder and killing and in turn pirates get pwnz0rd by

Privateers who kil lpirates and can also escort trade ships
( sorry this keybord at work is soo worn out)

the space in ships wil lalso have to be filled with cannons powder planks sail and cordage so they can repair the ship

ships wil lwork like this-
since the camels and inventory system are in place allready its going to be easier to implement ships.
- ships come in 5 classes lets say pinnace sloop carack west indy merchantman east indy merchanman and then on to a friggate class or ship of the line converted for trading

- pirate and privateer ships will be of like class and displacement
- problem is i dont knwo what kind of ships were arround in 7th centurty

- as a ship sails it looses hull integrity and speed due to wear and tear on sail hulland crew a captain will have to put ashore and use repair skills and suppies on ship to repair, this is where pirates and land based groups can try to take the ship, the hunters and traders on board can now help defend the anchored ship, might be fun

- when a ship looses all hull integrity ans sinks the player is sol ships have potential to make huge coin if you loose it your loss sea life is rough
say yarr alot it helps.

if a pirate sinks a merchant ship the loot wil ldrop from ship and al ltraders and float arround in boxes but only a random percentage will surface and be available to be picked up, the ship itsself wil lsplit upand can be picked up as salvage eg cordage sail and planks no cannon or powder as these would be instantly destroyed or sunk, provided there was cannon in 7th century or so, if not replace with ballista.

and way I AM AT WORK AND NEED TO GO WILL ADD MORE LATER

Would take a while to implement it, but damn that would rock.

Can you imagine BH, SD or another big guild doing a run with some of those?

silk road the journey that took years to complete, well its all about the moving of goods over trade routs and the means that carry them over it
if they would like to persue a water element id deffinetly help and sign on i dont know squat about programming or any thing like that but igot ideas and can research stuff like mad, im a partman its my job tofind stuff lol, i just see alot of potential even if sro went retail id pay cause i see what has been done and what can be done. i compared sro to knight online and holy mad man what a difference in the forums, k.o is so bad ithink i dint even down load it lol im sticking with sor.

thoughts ideas questions?

I WOULD LOVE to see raids.

Raids:
A guild gets its players together and they go take on a dungeon on a high level mob. They dominate that area but almost every mob they kill they have to use team work to do it. Nobody can really solo the mob unless its considerably a low level mob, but for guilds like muketsu, a mob somewhere in the 80's-90's and each mob they would have to work together. Eventually leading up to a boss mob with nice loots or a piece holder for a quest.


**Some of these suggestions like buying houses and stuff, is making it start to sound like everquest 2

hmm lets see
*i wish thay add guild HQ/Castle so the guild members can meet and not
suffer from mega lags in town. :x
*thiefs players spawn hunter NPC.
*More teem work it will be more fun if the guild meet in place and help eachouther fighting.
*Guild quests that can be nice :)
*More levels for guild
*Add to some charecters the way thay hold weapon and run/walk/sit
*AND THE MOST OF ALL I WANT IS ALL GUILD MEMBERS CAN TALK IN UNION CHAT AND NOT ONLY THE LEADERS :x

-NPC traders and hunters. This is so people will stop complaining; player thieves can go after NPC traders, and when a thief summons a transport hunters spawn instead of thieves (this causes the 1*pops against traders to stop).

- More jobs and job subclasses.
*So say thief has the subclasses Ninja (wrong country, I know), Pirate (as someone with that awesome water ferry post mentioned), and Thief. Ninjas focus more on fighting, pirates on stealing in the water, thieves focus more on stealing on the land.
*Hunters can be Samurai (I know, I KNOW), Captains, and Hunters. Samurai focus on PvP fighting, Captians on fighting Pirates, Hunters act more as escorts for traders.
*Don't really have any good ideas for a trader :\

- CAC (Create-a-Character) options should include: Nationality, eye shape, eye color, skin color, hair style, hair color, facial hair, facial hair color, height, weight, build, tattoos, accessories.

- Either get rid of the headband stuff sold in stores and replace them with helms or actually let us see the headband stuff when we equip it.

-GET RID OF STALLS. A new system should be implemented. It shall be like a combonation of storage and party matching. What you do is you go up to some NPC who will allow you to sell your stuff to other players. A screen pops up and you put in the items you want to sell in it, mark your price, give it a title, and then leave. By pressing a button players will be able to access the list of things on sale on the fly, from whereever and buy it. A lil message will appear telling you your stuff has been sold or if you are not on at the time (yes it should be on even when you are off) you can just press that shortkey to bring up the window and see if your stuff is still there.

- There should be mid-way towns between the major towns (a town inbetween Donwhang and Jangan, for ex.). After each mid-way town, in order to get to the next town, you have to go through some jungle, cave, dungeon, whatever, at a certain level. I say this as a way to seperate the high powered players from the low level players, more specifically when they are doing jobs. Mid way towns will act as spots where traders can sell their goods, the caves or whatever will act as buffers, allowing traders, hunters and thieves to not have to worry as much about bumping into higher level job players out to get them.

- I want a tiger pet :x

- Traders and hunters should get outfits too, not just dinky lil flags and fans.

- Better quests. I don't want to kill X amount of mobs or kill mobs to get X amount of items from them. It gets boring, fast. Implement races (actual races like running or horse races, hell even camel races), some kind of gladitorial fights where you're in an arena and you fight different kinds of mobs for prizes and such, find the whatever (look around the landscape), etc. There should also be job quests like steal x amount of items, intercept the transport, intercept the thief transport, find whatever and sell to whoever, kill X amount of hunters, kill X amount of thieves, etc.

- Minigames

and the GvG battels need to be done in arena not near towns
coz last time i got realy piss off coz some one ran away from me into safe zone and i was so close to beat the crap out of him :banghead:

I played a healer in lineage 2 till level 71 and the end game-play sucks. Too many **** running around afraid to fight cause it takes hours to get the exp back. People who still play lineage 2 are all bitches and afraid to battle.

Yes! That would be the best thing of all! It's really annoying having a guild member tell you they're hunting a murderer or thief, give you the coordinates and you run there - only to find (of course) that he's being chased somewhere else. It would be an awesome feature.

A button that you can push to auto-attack whatever mob last hit you.
Sometimes I am fighting a giant, and I cant target the little guy standing
under him, this really sucks.

Although the thought of Barreling through Donwhang and flattening 100 or so stalls, leaving a path of destruction behind does kind of amuse me :wink:

- ability to move the camera by putting the mouse curser to the edge of the screen

- next/closest target hotkey

- keyboard movement with an auto run key

- more trade skills & meaningful quests

- dungeons, is there even any? I am 22 and still haven't seen one. I love dungeon crawling

- make another type of auto grab/loot key that picks up all your loot around you (ignoring or skipping to the next if it doesn’t belong to you) kills my finger constantly hitting that g key all day.

- more skills and when you upgrade them adds new graphics or even a color change at least, maybe not every skill lvl but every so many.

- more magic casting and not just imbued weapons along with an actual mage class

- make Thief’s NPC Thieves ignore 1 star traders, too many take advantage of this exploit

all in all game needs more content badly like trade skills, more types of gear & graphics to go along with them, dif types of mobs not like
young tiger/tiger/black tiger/white tiger/giant tiger/giant white tiger/tiger champions, don’t get me wrong I like the champion and giant version idea of the mobs just like to see more of a variety of mobs and even several dif types for the same lvl group.

I am only lvl 22 and already getting very bored with the game, cant stay logged in for to long any more. So I tried being a trader to add something different and well it gets old fast and only 25% into lvl2 trader (and I hunt along the way).

I play a lot of dif MORPGs and usually I get sucked right in addicted and play heavy for months before I get this feeling, guess just nothing much to look forward too.

I came from lineage2 and hand down the game needs:

Share exp bonus or group mobs

Tanks need HATE to keep aggro every1 else just out dmg them i hate that

Change that level difference, just have to be 4-5 lv higher then a person and theres almost no way you will beat him if hes higher lv...change it to make it so it a skilled players can kill some1 higher lv.

I'm tired of all this KSing, especially by the archer players. So, this is something I also want added. In the Character screen, you can pick from these options:

1. Allow players to attack selected target
2. Target locked
3. Target lock except for higher level mobs

What it means:

1. When you attack a mob, other people will be other to attack it as well.
2. When you attack a mob, only you can attack it, no one else can touch it.
3. When you attack a mob, only you can attack it unless it's a giant or "red" to you.

Attacks include indirect attacks like lightening and ghost spear moves.

You can also change them at any time.

if they had mob locking capabilities in the game you post would be inverted, wanting free range to attack anything anytime. why?

because there wil lalways be someone who getst he hit in just before you.

No I wouldn't, I don't KS or at least I sure don't try to. If someone is already attacking someone then I ain't gonna attack it, simple as that.

I came from being a GM in a game where first hit claims a monster, trust me, if silkroad had this you would be talking about how you don't want it instead.

There's not really much 2 add 2 the ideas. So here's mine.
1. Multiple Guild notices
How about more notices in the guild board ? And that notices could be changed, cause e.g votes r hard 2 do without that.

2. A item searching system..doesn't matter how but just somoehow ! I'm getting pretty annoyed of writing: " WTB Lunar Blade..." and no1 answers ! :-( The item search could be built like e-gay :P ...errrm...e-bay. :wink: (I'm not gay !)

3. :!: Equal rights 4 every1 ! :!:
I'm pretty angry that biatches have more drops then men have ! I get like 0.5 drops an hour with white monsters and 1-2 drops an hour with GREEN monsters! :x Then all of a sudden I find out my bro gets trice as much as I do (or more) with all monsters! :x

this might change throughout the game but so what it's worth writing in here:
4. 8) NEW CLOTHES 8)
It's nice that u can analyse other guys/enemies/friends by what weapon and armor they r wearing ! But it's gettin' borin ! *YAWN*

5. :) NEW MOVES, SKILLS AND WEAPONS ! :)
The moves of the about Lvl 50+ r awesum, but how about more moves ? Heh ? what about it :?: Neva seen a Lvl 50+ fightin' with a heuksal, but with a bow it sure does look D@MN borin'. :roll:
They could make sum new weapons like staffs, throw knives or just moves 4 none weapon users. That would be cool !

Neva eva would I hack this game ! It's just 2 good...although sumtimes I'm so damn angry Ifell like tryin' but I change the negative thoughts 2 VERY VERY VERY BRUTAL thoughts of what I will do with any thief I meet when I'M Lvl 50+! :twisted: :arrow: just a joke (the no game guard thing but not the thief thing !)

I wish when doing trades, you can see your transpo on the map (the large map) so you know where it is... cause I usually go too far making my transpo stop :P
