Ok so it's not an excuse.

That's why only people lvl 20 and above can do jobbing. Because they are strong enough to handle some monsters. They never let people do job at lvl 1.

So now 20 too weak? Ok i agree. But people want to job at that lvl. They got popped and they complain. And why people popped them? One say THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TRADE BELOW 30. Eh? Who set this rule? You?

Even if i am 39, a 60 popper can also pop me and said..."oh...lvl 50 and below are not allowed to do jobbing..." And on and on....people forever won't be able to job till they cap the lvl

popping will alwayz occur even when they add hunter npcs to thieves.
cuz traders can help thieves.

only way popping will stop if npc spawned will attack you and only you.

and i like the popping im a trader and it makes it exciting.
dont get me wrong i get pissed to loose my loot but hey its a game.
now i started doing 5 star runs even a better kick to the game.

They are annoying. Usually someone from the guild changes to hunter, or we pop them if they have a camel. Why do stupid noobs bother running off with like 20 horseshoes.

Because they're new and to them it's fun and exciting. Or they think they'll actually make money doing it.

Yes but very few. They have to do 1 star instead of multi-star thus they will only spawn 1 thief which will reduce the chances of popping

Well... I've been popped twice. The first time, it was my fault, I walked right into some theives. They were sitting at the bridge. Lv64+ judging by their weapons, all with the super-devil-suit. They owned me. Then today, when trying to recover from a 2nd alchemy mishap (this time, worth 2 million, my entire "fortune") I was doing an 18k trade 1* and was taking this road, when all of the sudden 3 theives come in around the sides of me, and i run away, but my camel eventually died. I was 66% to Jangan too. This was the last of my money, and I have 2k now. I'm not begging or whining, but am just pointing out how utterly fuckin' retarted theives have to be. They all had SoS (one SoM) Moon Glavie's w/ +3 shines on them. i actually took a screenie of them, after i had taken my flag off.

What people don't realize is, it's all Joymax's fault. Nobody does multistar unless it's a huge union fire ox trade with at least 8+ hunters (like 2 per trader) which is insane. So theives have to resort to popping, because they cant kill the people their lvl. If joymax were to segregate trading/theiving into 5-lvl things (which would be easiest) than the problem would virtually vanish. 20-30 would be bad because i am lvl 25 and could probably 2/3-hit a lvl 20. 30s would be even worse. Keeping theif/trader/hunter attacking ranges within those 5-lvl brackets starting at lvl 20 would maintain a balance and certainly make it more interesting for people, and encourage a lot more risk taking.

I know some of you will rant my and call me a friggin noob and random crap... and you can all shove it. I'm just making a point. 20-25, 26-30, 31-35... most people would be able to at least handle themselves, and then the popping problem or the problem with theives/hunters not getting enough people thier lvl to kill would virtually be gone. Now I know Joymax is implementing an update that has theives spawn hunters, but that won't come for MONTHS and I don't think this would take more than a day to program in to the server, even while translating from korean programming into english.

The whole proposition is something you probably have heard before, but I just wanted to make a statement. I forgive poppers because it's not their fault that they have to do what they do, but I still have their asses.

Blah :-) rant over. *puts on anti-flame suit*

....

you will realise that after playing SRO longer, you will like popping. I have never been a thief before but it keeps me alert hehe. And when thieves can't pop me, there is a feeling of satisfaction "haha lvl 6X can't beat 3X haha"

And popping is necessary to kill gold botters. This is the only method so far that cannot be patched by even the best bot maker. Even if the botter attack/don't attack, once the npc thief attack the botter, can they run away?

Why would I like it? Almost no profit, long time waiting, hunters everywhere, and killing and crushing little newbies?

Actually to get the goods does not take long. At the western ferry, ensure that no other thief or hunter is there. Bring your camel/horse there as a trader. Kill your camel. Desuit and cross the river. Put on your thief suit and came back to the side of the ferry. Loot the goods

And there you go...

(PS: I am not very sure if you can equip another job suit in the 10 min time even after you cross the river)

Again: if it's 1*, I think the limit is about 18.97k, or that's what I've found. How does that profit you, especially if you're divvy-ing it up between 3 or 4 poppers?
