I just started cooking myself some quick nice meals/breakfasts so I don't know too many things. I can make/cook eggs, grilled cheese, oatmeal and omelettes but I'm getting a lil tired of them. Gonna try making my own hashbrowns for a nice breakfast before early lecture. Post some suggestions , I need some inspiration

I cook a lot of "homely" meals: crumbed spicy chicken, lamb chops, various roast meats with gravy and roast potatoes etc with every meal being served with 4 veggies. My signature recipe, though, is my curried sausage. The key is a good quality sausage from the butchers

MrTwilliger wrote: The key is a good quality sausage from the butchers This. My girlfriend has worked (still does now and then) at a butcher near our place. Having good quality food is the best start you can have. We also try to get as much of our veggies from the market. I personally like to cook when I have the time (which is not that often because of work) but when I do, I go all out :] My girlfriend loves to cook and she can cook anything from any cuisine. If you need any tips on some simple meals, send me a pm ;]

toast 2 breads, cook egg over medium bust the yoke halfway through, buteer breads and throw a slice of cheese on that bitch.
You could also scramble 2 eggs, toast 2 pieces of bread, throw some mayo on them and put the scrambled eggs on them. mmm

Literally anything, to be honest and without bragging, as long I got the ingredients. I learned the hard way as I started cooking at the age of 8. I could like, I mean baking is hard for me though xD Anything asian is easy for me

I don't want to brag or anything, but I make the best steaks evah. I've started cooking steaks like 5 years ago and so far I've read about 2/3 books and watched over 100 videos on how to make steaks . I'm a pure carnivore and so I've specialized in cooking meat. I also can make around 20+ chicken dishes and they are all delicious. I often cook for the family

Gimme a cookbook and the right ingredients and it's anything. I rarely cook but I've been doing it since I was tall enough to reach to hold the pan on top of the stove. Spicy corned beef with green bell pepper and potato chunks with skin, a mean omelette with lots of cheese, potatoes, mushroom, tomatoes, etc. Barbecue and grilled stuff marinated with soy sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, alcohol, and whatever fits the mood. I cooked flan a few times a long time ago. The only stuff I never liked cooking is soup.. It's meh. Also pancakes (with stuff), corndogs and hot pockets

So easy and so good. That sounds good, how2make? Real simple. Fry up an egg. I like to leave the yolk runny and pop it when I bite into the sandwich, but you can harden the yolk if you prefer. Just let it fry longer. Toasted or untoasted bread, I usually do untoasted with mayo on it and some Tapatio.

I am the pancake master!
I think I can cook pretty ok. It's just that I never cook =.=. But I am proud of my pancake and baked egg making abilities.

The quality of food really makes a huge difference when you cook food. There is no comparison between organic free range chicken and normal chicken from Foster Farms or Tyson or organic beef that has not been treated with antibiotics and grass fed.
The only downside is that shit is so expensive. Not even average income families can afford to cook like that. However, fruits and veggies are different. I think you're an idiot if you go to Whole Foods and pay the premium prices they offer for produce. You can go to any Farmer's market and get even more delicious and fresh fruit/veggies/fish for way cheaper.
As for cooking, my whole family knows how to cook and I've been helping my mom cook since I was little. I know how to make most types of food from Mexican, Chinese, Persian, American, Indian, etc. My mom did not always cook Persian food (we're Iranian), she always wanted to learn more recipes from around the world and I learned from her.

So did the fried egg sandwich with a little twist, Farking good. Cheese bagel + 2 fried eggs + 2 slices of tomato + few slices of cold meat And a strawberry-banana smoothie. Keep the suggestions coming, I'll try out new stuff everytime.

You can literally add anything else you want to it since all you're starting with is a fried egg and some bread. Enjoy. Omelets are also fun and pretty simple to make. That smoothie looks delicious.

I'm Asian, I could cook almost any dish, except for exotic & or any dish that needed to be baked, never had an oven.
Our family always have to cook on Big events like fiesta, birthdays, so I was trained to cook eversince I was a kid, mostly home made dishes though...

I miss my pasta, this no-carb diet makes me QQ That was a meal I made myself, Tortellini, with caramelized onions in maple syrup, roast beef, basil, olive oil, fresh ground pepper and salt. Yummy Now its simple: Mornings: Protein Shake Lunch: Eggs and Bacon with raw veggies with tzaziki sauce (homemade) Dinner: Cooked veggies with any sort of fish/meat
