Seriously, nothing in the real world has ever been rigorously proved, or ever will be.
What hasn't been observed is one animal abruptly changing into a radically different one, such as a ape changing into a human. etc..

But the extinction and speciation rates haven't always been the same during the history of the Earth. During some 'periods' there have been less species and during some other there have been more species. Change is only natural.



I can. Science is based on observation and generalisation. If something has worked thus far, people think that it always works that way and is the general 'law' of things.

And you know it isn't proved to be true because you've read enormous amount of research papers, right? Evolution is SLOW change over the course of time.

I had a physics professor who completely annihilated a kid for saying "well it's just a theory" scientific theory is basically scientific law. It is the best explanation that we have. Also we fail to take care of the poor humans and you expect us to make a huge conservation effort and protect all these animals? Fine quit your job and go to the bush with your gun and protect them until then your as useless as the rest of us.

Blackfox, the point of evolution is to make beings more complex. A chicken is not more complex then a ape, so I really don't understand what point you're trying to make.

And that's why I told you to refrain from posting about evolution.

Domesticating an animal is pretty much selective breeding while making sure it knows who the master is. The only difference between wild animals and cats and dogs are the amount of time spent doing it to them as well as how much easier they are to control. If say bears were smaller and wouldn't eat/maul you, they could of been domesticated by now as well. Dogs, cats, cows, sheep, horses, ect, they weren't born domestic.


I think it has. There are lots of animals that have changed in our time. It hasn't taken to the entire species, but its a start. One example I can remember. Some lizards living with a non native species of ants, which will kill them, starting growing longer legs to be able to get away from them.

Aren't dogs pretty much proof of evolution as well? I mean most stem from the same kind pretty much. Through selective breeding we've made a huge variety of dogs that wouldn't exist normally. Sure its not natural but its the same thing. Take a shih tzu and a bulldog, get some little Bullshits, now you got a new species.

Evolution is change, adapting your surroundings, survival of the fittest. Mutations are certainly proven. Mutations arent always good and successful either. If something is born with a mutation, and its a helpful one though, say a butterfly born with a slightly different pattern or something to help it camouflage more, then that butterfly will have a better chance at not getting seen and eaten, then passing that gene on. More and more pass it on while the others get eaten. Eventually its only those left, they have evolved.
