It's bigger than what countries have small displeasure with us, when a country has and is willing to use nuclear weapons it becomes a global issue.

Until they pull the trigger I'm just gonna sit back because I truly don't see them doing anything I think they just want people to fear them and look at them as a big global power to be reckoned with.

Sidenote to thus that said Russia will take side with China. Russia has never been a threat to the states(in our time) it's a picture the government and media built up "the russian threat" to be able to gain massive power without a reason for it. When there really wasnt any reason for it.

Not worried about the US as a country, I live in California and dying to a random attack would suck but I actually am more concerned for South Korea. Easily one of my favorite countries in the world and to see them suffer a setback due to the aholes north would suck.

Can we stop being rational (lul) and just nuke this fatboy already :palm: Its obvious he is just doing it so he can feed his brainwashed country an image of himself as a strong leader (through state media).

And remember seoul is a city of 25mil people with tons of tech companies with their headquarters there. That's a crisis if you ask me.

I like how you mentioned the tech companies as if that would be the biggest aspect of seoul being nuked, no playstation 4 or hdtvs for 'muricuns

China declare war on US at which point russia is up for a good going at the US too after the tension thats always existed. Japan feel revenge is necessary for Hiroshima/nagasaki and 90% of the middle east want to see america eradicated.

america suddenly arent the favorites when over half the worlds population decide america were just being too big for there boots.

sure this scenario isnt likely but possible and feasible. When you look at the people in control of the big guns right now, a lot of them are inexperienced to understand consequence.

Ok im not sure where you pulled this fantasy out of, but i totally agree. After Japan attacks US for Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Germany will also attack to avenge their loss in WWI and WWII along with Turkey and Italy, and Spain and Mexico will attack for their losses in the Spanish-American War and the Mexican cessation. then the UK will release their bottled up anger from losing the Revolutionary war and attack US too, and the French will exact their revenge for the Quasi-War of 1798. Worst of all, our Canadian brothers from the north will attack in retribution to the War of 1812. America, upon realizing that she has strayed from her founding principles and that all of her allies have long-held grudges against her, will decide to self-nuke herself.

sure this scenario isnt likely but possible and feasible. and when you look at how boring the world is right now, its always fun fantasizing that its a game of Age of Empires.

There nukes are nothing to be worried about :sohappy: , I would worry more about them nuking major military bases in SK and Japan.

quoting you and TheDrop:

I dont think japan will team up with china... but i can see both japan and china attacking the USA, not as a team but still attacking them. I dont think russia was exactly buddies with the americans fighting the germans but that happened...
The comment was part troll part serious. The serious part was that it could escalate over to more countries getting involved. The war with Iraq... and afganistan... and now iran. its all a spill over from what was an over hyped idea of a guy holding WMA's.

As much as id love to see america nuke N.K i dont see it happening unless america has found a way to contain nuclear fallout. nukes cause lots of destruction but have long term repercussions that south korean would have to live with.

oh and Aristo, what about the cold war?

Japan and America are like culturally different brothers... Yeah, they'd attack their greatest ally and watch China and Russia take them over afterwards. Makes sense.

When did we invade Iran again? I know under Obama we've gotten into a few other wars, but not sure where Iran fits in with Pakistan, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, or any other the others we've shot drones at.

If (a very large if at that) the US did go to war with NK and won ofcourse who would take over that country? It's not like we could just give it to the people and let them hold an election, they have been systematically brainwashed throughout their entire life.

i think drones count as invasion lol
and iran said they shot down an invading drone, i dont think america's excuse of "we lost control oops" is good enough.

Aventus's America>all attitude is the reason why i posted the situation i did. People assuming america can do everything when it wants and suffer no consequence. We all know its unlikely for america to lose a war but at what cost? If N.K decide to nuke and america nuke back, there wont be any population to vote anyway... and no one would even want to own a land full of fallout.

I just know we are more technologically advanced than a country that has been lead by a family of guys with their head in the ass. They can't afford the feed their own people and you expect them to keep up with a country that spends as much as the US does on defense. I'm not being arrogant im just not retarded. America may have a large amount of economical problems but we still are a military super power.

North Korea enters 'state of war' with South

Quote:
North Korea has said it is entering a "state of war" with South Korea in the latest escalation of rhetoric against its neighbour and the US. A statement promised "stern physical actions" against "any provocative act". North Korea has threatened attacks almost daily since it was sanctioned for a third nuclear test in February. However, few think the North would risk full-blown conflict. It has technically been at war with the South since 1953 as no peace treaty has been signed. An armistice at the end of the Korean War was never turned into a full treaty. 'Taking threats seriously'

Until they pull the trigger I'm just gonna sit back because I truly don't see them doing anything I think they just want people to fear them and look at them as a big global power to be reckoned with.

Sounds a lot like America. I wonder which country was the only one to ever use a nuclear weapon for warfare? Hmm.

And in doing so they saved hundred of thousands of american lives, Always easy to speak in hindsight. I still agree to this day they made the right call nuking japan.

@Penfold

You forgot one thing, usa and britain have made a pack against WMD so if america gets involved so will Britain, France, Germany, and even Canada, so usa is not alone against NK China Japan, just wanted to correct that post.
