Quote: In our next major content patch, druids will find a host of new textures for two major forms, cat and bear. There will be five different designs for each of these forms for the Horde and Alliance. Night elves can choose to change their cat and bear look at any time by visiting the barber shop and changing their character's hair color, while tauren will be able to change which look they use by switching skin tones in the barber shop -- a new feature for tauren in the next major content patch. Given that there are more hair colors and skin tones than unique form looks, some colors and tones will overlap with these new textures. The hair and skin colors chosen will, in most cases, correspond with the color seen in the look of each form. Some similar colors that may share a particular cat texture will not necessarily share the same bear texture.
We'd like to share with you this new art for each form and faction in four installments. So without further ado, our first preview is for the five new textures of the tauren druid bear form. We'll also show the current form design so you can easily see the extra detail and textures of the new art. Work continues on new looks for the remaining druid forms and we hope to add them in future content patches. Code: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/underdev/druid-forms.html I don't play a druid but the idea of changing your hair also changing the druid form is actually really cool. I'm tempted to reroll one now.

Here's the NE bear skins. Not as colorful as the Tauren one.

a bit much if you ask me...i know the old bear and cat forms were ugly as sin but all these options just because druids want to look different is kinda dumb...at end game everyone of the same spec will look the same...guess QQing long enough works...

Doesn't matter, my 72 NE drood is still gonna be a dust-collector.

I'm more excited for the PvP buffs since it means I won't get my face ripped off when I drop out of tree to CC.

I thought that was a myth. Umm, druid/warrior is one of the top 2v2 comps right now. The only reason resto druids sucked last season was because DKs removing hots and Pally/DK being everywhere. Now DKS can't remove hots, so it's all good. And tree form has mad armor. I can tank a ret pally and DK until I'm OOM unless they're really good.

I'm more afraid of a ret pally than a drood tbh, I've seen a shitload of shammies lately with the regular pallys, rogues, priests, and dks and some warriors. I still remember my last hunter encounter, can't remember my last druid one... maybe they're all doing BGs, I'm gonna check. (haven't BGd in at least a month)

back when i played wow, there was someone who did some bad-ass model edits for both tauren and nightelf form but i can't seem to find pictures (atleast working ones) of them anymore =( they should be whats used imo, not just a recoloring of the skins and the addition of a few trinkets here and there.

Now they are QQing on how it wasn't as much as they expected and that the bear forms should be wearing the helm and armor you are wearing... Druids will never stop QQing
