Did my first raid(I think it's called a raid) today. Ran Arathi Basin battlegrounds. omfg it was so much fun. Didn't die once, got 13 HK and 60 something honor from it.

We beasted the Horde like 2000 resources to like, 800. Was so much fun I love this game.

I remember my first battle ground. Guildies were talking about WG, and it sounded like the CTF in SRO. Boy, I was in for a surprise. Going out from the gates and seeing how big the place is:

"Oh hell no..."

I'll never forget that lol.

I won't forget this. Was real chill about it. A level 30 in a room full of 39s.

I buffed when needed. Attacked, defended, rushed. Was pro.

Yes, BGs can be quite fun. There will always be the twink geared high powered ones that 2-hit you everytime but find your role and enjoy. I have played WSG, AB, and AV. I tend to like Arathi Basin the best and it gives the most opportunities to 1v1 and group-v-group around the various CPs. WG can get campy if one teams is seriously outclassed and the other team just wants to hold the flag instead of get the last cap just because they want to kill kill kill. Alterac Valley is a big mofo and as Horde I have yet to win once but I think there are threads as to why this is so. Marks of Honor = 30WSG + 30AB + 30AV = epic mount. My next goal....already spent marks on gear when I should have just saved them for the mount but the bracers from WSG and the boots from AB have really been carrying me for 20 levels.

Anyway, great game within a game and now with world que-ing up for BG it is awesome.

It's called a Battleground mate not a raid. Good thing you had fun though. Id like to see more people actually trying the game before putting it down, because if they did try it, they would love it.

Boo allies :D

Glad you had fun. A lot of long time wowers dislike BGs for some reason, but I love them. Wait until you do Warsong gulch, it's loads of fun, and my favorite. But then I've always been a sucker for CTF anything.

I don't get that either, Horde on my server almost never wins Alterec. But haha I got in one the other day where were totally outnumbered, and we won :D For some reason we attacked their boss first, maybe that has something to do with it?

@Lempi: Sorry! I am le nooooob. Been playing three days total. Just hit 35 last night in Scarlet Monastery. Dropped three pieces of my Scarlet Mail set. nom

@lavapockets: Haha boo Horde. All my experiences with Horde have been bad. That level 80 that will spawn kill my body even though it's worth no honor.

Last night me and a friend were questing and we found two Horde our level and the ensuing fight was fun. Does anyone know why pallys can't use Exorcism against players? Is it a purely pve skill?

Anyway. 2v2 for a while. My friend would die, we'd kill them. I'd res him. Rinse, repeat. Until they called a 48 Priest on us. We killed the priest and those two once more. Then the priest got smart and killed us. So we called in a 39 pally friend. So now it was a 3v3. Was so much fun.

I have yet to have one bad experience in this game.

I think that's true of all opposing factions though. Funny example story...so yesterday we're out in Zul'drak and I see this 77 druid hanging out and I go kill it. I have 2 other people with me at all times, and they didn't even help. Noob gets all but hurt and brings not 1, not 2, and not 3 80s out to camp us, but 6. Six level 80s and a 77 to camp three lvl 75s. God I love being a stealth class. I ressed, stealthed in a tree, and used my emote macros on them from afar. It's fun watching a fully raid buffed group chase a low level stealth class. I can only image what all those red shouts were about. Anyways, my peeps got away while those idiots were chasing me down :D

Haha I actually just had a sort of similar experience. Me and a friend I always quest and stuff with were out killing stuff. When we see a 39 Rogue. We figure he won't do anything, seeing as there's two of us. Next thing I know, I'm stunned after he comes out of stealth. So my friend, who is a mage, freezes him real fast. I get unstunned, turn around and stun him back. Hit him with Judgment, Consecration, and we rape him. Two level 36s killing a 39. So he calls a friend. A 48 Warlock. We take him down and after a few deaths, they give up and we lol.
